WINNIPEG – Iron Fist taekwondo students will attempt to break GuinnessTM World records to raise money for the Children's Wish Foundation in honour of the Dubois family.
Marcel and Brenda Dubois died tragically in November 2010 while on their way back from a taekwondo tournament in Saskatchewan, leaving behind their five boys.

"Both Marcel and Brenda dedicated time to the Children's Wish Foundation," said Sonny Pabuaya, the Club's Master. "The Kick-a-Thon represents an opportunity for our community to honour the couple while donating to reputable charity and supporting taekwondo students in this exciting challenge."
The Kick-a-Thon will consist of an individual competition for the most roundhouse kicks in one minute and a team competition for the most full contact kicks in one hour.
"Students must make a pledge to enter the competition and we have already received strong interest," said Pabuaya. "All members of the community are welcome to make a donation and view what we expect to be a very exciting event."
The event kicks off at 2 p.m. this Saturday at the Iron Fist Taekwondo club.
